Hi! Can I stay longer at any of the Disney resorts beyond the number of days I need to go to the park? For example--- stay 6 nights and experience 4 park days?

Hi Yemisi! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney

You can definitely stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for more nights than days at the parks! I love to have several "down days" when I visit Walt Disney World so I can enjoy some of the off-the-beaten-path activities. I enjoy taking a few days to swim at the pool, play video games at the arcade, golf at Fantasia Gardens, and shop at Disney Springs

Before you purchase your Walt Disney World theme park tickets, you can check the theme park reservation availability calendar to see if your desired date and theme park are available. You can then purchase your tickets and make your park reservation.

If you are looking for fun things to do on your off days at the park, I highly recommend visiting Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You can take archery lessons, pony rides, and take wagon rides at Tri-Circle-D-Ranch. My kids and I had so much fun doing these activities! Make sure to dine at the Trail's End Restaurant while you are there. The smokehouse skillet is so yummy!

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
