Do I have to stay with guests if I bought Florida resident tickets for friends? Also, can I just check them in and then they go about their day and hop between parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Devonna! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question about Florida Resident theme park tickets.

In order to be able to purchase and use Florida Resident theme park tickets, every adult must show Proof of Florida Residency. You can do so at any Guest Services location or ticket window at any of the theme parks or Disney Springs.

If your friends are not Florida Residents, they will not be able to use tickets meant for Florida Residents. You can, however, purchase Florida Resident theme park tickets for children in your family under the age of 18.

If you’re looking for a magical gift for your friends, Disney Gift Cards are a great gift for anyone spending some time at Disney’s theme parks. They can be used so many ways during a vacation, for example at restaurants, toward the purchase of merchandise at the Resort, for ticket purchases and even toward Disney Resort Collection hotel stays.

Devonna, I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to visit us again if you have any more questions. Helping you with the details of your next magical trip is our pleasure!
