Hi! We would like to stay in a family Suite in AoA Resort, and next week we'll be making reservations. The thing is, we need a rollaway bed since kids won't share a bed. How do we make sure we get one? Or is it just if available upon arrival?

    Hi Alessandra,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I recently stayed in a Cars Family Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort with 3 of my girlfriends earlier this year. We were able to request an additional rollaway bed when we checked-in for our stay. While, it made for a bit of a tight fit when the murphy bed and sofa bed were pulled out, but it was still manageable and any inconvenience was far outweighed by the joy of not having to share a bed with another person… I think your kids will agree!

From what I understand, rollaway beds can only be requested at check-in and can’t be guaranteed prior to your arrival at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. I also understand, however, that there are usually plenty to go around, unless you’re planning to visit during an extremely busy time of year (like during the Holidays).  When you do make your book your vacation (I recommend doing so by phone), make sure to have this request noted on your reservation. It may help increase the odds that one will be available during your visit.

Finally, please note that these rollaway beds do come with an additional cost per night and that they can’t be used to increase the room’s maximum occupancy of 6 people.

Should you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

    Have a Magical Day,
