Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Pool

    if we stay at a Disney resort, such as Port Orleans with a discount room offer, similar to the 30% off this year, and we buy the military salute ticket, would we still qualify for the dining plan?

    I am happy to hear you want to stay at one of Disney's Port Orleans Resorts! I have stayed at both, and they are wonderful! French Quarter is beautiful with the wrought iron, jazz music piping through the grounds, and of course, beignets! Riverside is beautiful too, and has great dining options. Both resorts are a boat ride away from Disney Springs via the Sassagoula River and are in great proximity to the theme parks. You can't go wrong with either!

    I am a military spouse, and whenever my family stays at a Disney Resort hotel, we purchase Disney Military Salute tickets on base and then link them to our My Disney Experience mobile apps. Whenever you make a resort reservation, you do have the option of adding the dining plan, regardless of getting tickets through Walt Disney World Resort or on base. Keep in mind that the dining plan is not discounted for military members. Resort rooms with the military rate are limited at select resorts, so make your reservations as soon as possible!
