Do I have to stay at a Disney Resort the night before to get the magic extra hours? Or can it just be the night after? I am thinking of driving to Disneyworld in the morning, spending one day in the park, and then staying that night at a Disney Resort.

    Hi Cynthia,

I LOVE hearing that you are dreaming about how to fit a bit of Disney magic into your holiday plans, and I'm happy to let you know that I have good news for you!

You'll be considered a Guest of your Disney Resort hotel for the entire day of both your check-in and check-out and may take advantage of all of the wonderful amenities and benefits all day long! This includes access to Extra Magic Hours for both of those days as well, even if they're before official check-in time or after official check-out time! Thanks to online check-in, you can take care of all of your "business" before you even arrive, allowing you to hit the theme parks as early as you'd like. The great thing is that when you provide your contact info, you'll receive a text and/or email when your room is ready so you can head straight there whenever you'd like. One other tip...be sure to customize your MagicBand at least 11 days ahead of time so that you'll receive it at home before you leave. You'll be all set to show up and experience a magical day full of fun!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cynthia, and please feel free to come see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
