Can you stay at a Disney resort for more days than you are visiting the parks?

    Hey Howdy Hey Kate,

I am so glad you popped in at planDisney with this fantastic question. I am thrilled to tell you that the easy answer to this question is, absolutely! Guests are welcome to reserve a room and stay at any available Disney Resorts Collection hotel for as many nights as they would like whether they plan on visiting a theme park or not. If we could, we would stay for weeks at a time!

There are so many fantastic resort options and each has its own unique personality and charm that it makes sense you would want extra time at the resort. The Disney Resorts Collection offers so many wonderful amenities that you could easily spend days simply enjoying all they have to offer. Plus, you are welcome to visit the other Disney resorts to enjoy some of their options as well. When I am helping my friends plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacations, I always tell them to plan at least a day or two to enjoy their resort, as well as hop around and visit some of the other Disney resorts. A great way to recharge after tackling EPCOT and Magic Kingdom is to plan a day at your resort pool and perhaps an evening of shopping at Disney Springs. You will often find Guests that stay at the Disney Resorts for more days than their theme park adventures and during the holidays, we even plan long weekends where we do not visit any theme parks and spend our time enjoying all the beautiful resort decorations.

I hope this information helps with your planning. If I can assist with any additional questions, please stop back and see me
