Can I stay at disney resort with my cat?

    Hiya Lee,

Welcome to planDisney! Allow me to “elucidate here” about pet-friendly accommodations at Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World Resort currently has four resort hotels (Art of Animation, Port Orleans- Riverside, Yacht Club, and The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort) that have been designated as dog-friendly. Unfortunately, only dogs are permitted at this time, so your feline friend will not be able to join you in your resort hotel room.

As someone who considers her pet family (just like Mickey and Pluto), I understand wanting to make sure your pet can enjoy some magic. One place that will ensure your beloved cat can take part is Best Friends Pet Hotel. Your cat can enjoy a 2-level kitty condo (or 4-level townhome) and amenities like Tuna on a Ritz and Deluxe Kitty Bed. When we visit Walt Disney World Resort, we often take our dog to spend the day there, and he always enjoys himself. Limited spots are available, so if you want to reserve a space for your cat, I recommend visiting their website and doing so in advance.

I hope this was helpful, Lee. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.

I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
