Hey there, Sha-Taisja!
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your water park question. You’re ready to see how far you’ll go with a splash-tacular adventure! There’s truly nothing like grabbing an inner tube, floating along Melt-Away Bay at Disney’s Blizzard Beach, and letting the Florida sunshine work its magic. It sounds like you’re ready to dive right in, and I’m thrilled to share some exciting news and tips for your visit!
Guests staying overnight at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels in 2025 will enjoy complimentary water park admission on their check-in day. That means you can just keep swimming and make your check-in day unforgettable! Here’s what you need to know:
- This benefit is exclusive to registered overnight Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels with check-in dates between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, and is subject to availability.
- You can visit either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach (whichever is open) on your check-in day. Admission is valid only for that day and cannot be transferred to another day during your stay.
- Be sure to check the park calendar and operating hours as your trip approaches to plan your adventure!
Some other important tips to remember:
As a Floridian, I can tell you that summers can be as unpredictable as Maui’s hook—so check the weather forecast before heading to the water park. In the case of inclement weather, water parks may be temporarily closed.
If you’re traveling with just your bare necessities, you can head straight to the water park on your check-in day without officially checking in at your hotel first. Just keep in mind that luggage isn’t permitted in water parks or on Disney buses. Therefore, if you are traveling with luggage, use Bell Services at your Disney Resort Collection hotel to store your bags. They’ll even deliver them to your room when you return.
Whether you’re conquering Summit Plummet or enjoying the gentle waves at Typhoon Lagoon, I hope your water park day is filled with magical memories. Let me know if you have any more questions.
See you real soon,
Christina
