Hi again, Frank!
Welcome back to
planDisney, and thank you for asking us another question as you continue preparing for your magical visit to the
Disneyland Resort. I bet you’re getting excited for the adventures ahead, especially if this will be your first stay at
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa!
It sounds like you’re already aware that Guests staying at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels can take advantage of the
early entry admission option, which allows them to enter a designated theme park 30 minutes before the official opening time. This benefit is available on every day of your stay, including the day you check-in and the day you check-out. However, you won’t be able to acquire the hotel room key card necessary for early entry prior to your official check-in date.
That said, you’re welcome to arrive at your Disneyland Resort Hotel anytime on your arrival day, even if it is very early in the morning before sunrise! Your room won’t be available until close to the official check-in time of 3:00 that afternoon, but if you arrive ready to hit the park, it’s definitely doable! Plan to park at your hotel, store your luggage with Bell Services, and then check in at the front desk. Please keep in mind that you must have a valid
theme park ticket and
theme park reservation for the park that is offering Early Entry on your arrival day, and plan to allow at least an hour to check-in, pass through security, and make your way to the theme park turnstiles to make the most of your bonus time.
I hope this helps you make plans, Frank. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to
visit again!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
