Howdy Juliana!
Welcome to
planDisney, the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts you ever will meet! The
phased reopening of Disneyland Resort has us ready to blast off to infinity and beyond after more than a year of feeling like lost toys. I am so happy to hear you are planning a visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth, and it would be my pleasure to help lasso an answer for you about proof of California residency.
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park have reopened with significantly limited capacity to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. All Guests are required to obtain theme park reservations on the new
theme park reservation system in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks. Out-of-state Guests will be able to
purchase tickets and make theme park reservations for dates on or after June 15, 2021.
Proof California residency would include a California state-issued ID that shows a California address, Military ID with a copy of orders showing an assignment to California, California Student ID, or government-issued mail listing your name and address. If you do not have any of these forms of documentation, I recommend visiting the parks once they open to out-of-state Guests after June 15, 2021.
Please remember you’ve got a friend in us here at
planDisney, so stop back by any time we can help answer your vacation questions.
