Just starting to plan my vacation. I know the check in time is 3:00 for value resorts. And I was wondering if guests can use the hotel pool before check in time. Thanks.

    Hi Carrie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you've booked an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

You're my kind of planner! My family always tries to arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort early so we can start experiencing the magic right away. Although your room is not guaranteed to be ready, you'll be able to start using the resort amenities and recreational activities (resort pool) at your Disney Resort hotel prior to official check-in time. If my family decides against visiting a park on our arrival day, we always enjoy spending a few hours at our resort pool.

Be sure to take advantage of  Disney’s Online Check-In service to expedite your arrival process. When utilizing online check-in, I find it to be super helpful to receive notification via text or email when our room is ready. We have gotten lucky a few times in the past and found our room to be ready prior to official check-in time. Before hitting the pool, you can also leave your bags with Bell Services until your room is ready. You are going to love all of the "minnie" benefits you will receive by staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

I hope this information is helpful with your vacation planning, Carrie. Let us know if you have any additional questions. We would love to assist you further as you continue to plan a magical trip!
