Hiya, Ebony! Welcome to planDisney! It’s so wonderful that you’re starting to prepare for your trip! It sounds like you have a fun crew traveling with you, and I bet you’ll love staying in a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. That type of room is actually my family’s favorite, because it allows us to stay together and still have enough privacy so we can have restful nights and fun-filled days.
We love the 3-Bedroom Grand Villas at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge- Kidani Village, and this type of room might be the perfect solution for your group. While there are not options for an adjoining room, this type of room does sleep up to 12 people. In this spacious two-story Villa, you’ll enjoy spending time together in the large living room with a big screen TV, catching up around the dinner table, and savoring your morning coffee on your balcony while watching the sun rise over the savanna with giraffes and zebras grazing below. There is a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and tons of thoughtful storage space, so you can really feel at home. The first floor has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en suite bathroom, as well as an additional full bathroom off the living area. When you head up the stairs, you’ll enter the loft space that features a pull-out sofa and TV. On this level, there are two additional bedrooms, each with two queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. Each bedroom has a balcony, closet, and TV, and the entire Villa is handsomely appointed with African-themed decor. If anyone in your group is small enough to need a pack and play, we found that there was plenty of room to set one up near the closet, so there was some separation between the baby and the bedroom. We have had up to 12 family members in a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa - and not only did we live to tell the tale, we’ve done it multiple times and can’t wait to return!
When you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you’ll find that there are so many things to do and see within the resort. My kids love to swim at the pool - they always go straight for the water slide - and I love that there are attentive lifeguards to help keep them safe. My youngest enjoys the splash pad area, and it’s so nice that I don’t have to worry about packing towels or floaties for anyone, because it’s all provided right there! There are often resort-specific activities, as well, like the one-hour guided tour of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, where you can learn all about the unique art and architecture of the resort. My family likes to schedule a “resort day” in the middle of our vacation to give us a chance to enjoy all our resort has to offer, and give our feet a moment to rest after all the walking in the theme parks!
When choosing your Disney Resort Hotel, keep in mind your preferred location and how your crew prefers to travel around Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you’re into boats, the Monorail, the Skyliner, walking paths, or buses, each resort offers unique options that are complimentary to guests. You’ll also enjoy special perks like Early Theme Park Entry and the ability to purchase a
dining plan with your hotel and ticket package.
Ebony, I hope this has been helpful, and I hope you find the perfect room for your group! Please visit us again!
See you real soon!
