I am starting to plan a trip to Disney World in 2013. None of us have ever been and are playing around with many options. if we had no other choice, would you recommend the week of Cristmas, or the week after? And would this ruin the real Disney experience

Hi, Tara!  The week after Christmas - between Christmas and New Year's - is probably the busiest time at Walt Disney World.  There are so many people on vacation, and it's an absolutely magical time to be at Walt Disney World, the crowds really swell.

If you are going the same week as Christmas, you might have a better chance at lighter crowds in the days leading up to Christmas Eve.  If I had to choose (which I did, for this coming year), I would choose the week of Christmas.  You'll have all the wonderful holiday experiences available to you, and you may be able to enoy them before the holiday crowd builds.

Happy planning, Tara!  If you need us, we're here!
