Starting to plan our trip for December hoping to stay at pop century our favorite. This time we will be taking our 3 year with us who still sleeps in a crib. Will they allow us to have 2 adults, daughters 6 , 4 and 3 year old in a playpen?.

Hi Amanda!  December is an awesome time to visit Walt Disney World!  The decorations are up at the resorts and the parks, and there is nothing like walking down Main Street, U.S.A. watching snow fall!  The maximum room occupancy for Pop Century is 4 persons and a child under 3 in a portable crib.  If she will be under three at the time of arrival, you have no problem. If she will turn three prior to arrival, the scenario changes. Although your daughter is still sleeping in a playpen, she is three years old, and Disney will require you to either book two rooms at Pop or perhaps a Family suite at Disney’s All-Star Music or Art of Animation Resort.   Another option, should you want to stay at a moderate resort, is Port Orleans—Riverside.  POR offers rooms with 2 Queen beds and a Murphy-style bed, geared for a child under 9.  Once “hidden” the bed transforms to a lovely bench, affording more seating areas.  These will be higher priced, but will accommodate your family of 5 adequately. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
