Starting on January 13, 2019, there are no performance times listed for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. Is it temporarily closing to prepare for a new location in Galaxy's Edge?

Hello Aimee! Thanks for your question. As of right now, there are no plans to close Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While showtimes are subject to change, there are currently six shows offered daily.

My daughter participated as a recruit when she was seven years old, and it was such an enjoyable experience for her. Looking back, she describes it as “a little intense,” but if I were battling Darth Vader, I’d describe it as “intense,” too!

Remember that potential recruits must register to participate in the show, and all participants must be present at the time of registration. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, so I would encourage you to get there as soon as Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens for the day.

Also make sure you have purchased Memory Maker, as Disney's PhotoPass photographers will capture spectacular candid shots of the Younglings as they come face-to-face with some of the most menacing characters in the Galaxy.

If there’s a die-hard Star Wars fan in your party, you might also want to consider the Star Wars Guided Tour (which includes a guaranteed spot for Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple).

Enjoy your adventure, and may the Force be with you!
