We are starting our holidays on Disney Dream, what if I need to bring with me some cruise-prohibited items (nothing illegal, a cooler and extension cord) for the rest of our holidays. Should I pack them separately or in my carry-on to expedite the process?

    Ahoy there, Lucila!

Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you have a fabulous holiday planned for your crew at the end of this month, and a Disney Dream sailing sounds like a magical way to kick things off. You'll be soaking in the sun on Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point before you know it. If this is your first visit to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, be ready to be surrounded by beauty and wowed by this immersive Bahamian experience!

I am glad you asked this question because I had a similar situation a few cruises ago, and planning will help expedite the process at the cruise terminal. The best thing to do is to have the prohibited items packed together as you go through security. They will be able to hold these items for you until you disembark. Look for a table in the cruise terminal after you go through U.S. Customs, and your items will be waiting for you to pick up.

Lucila, please let us know if you have any other questions before you set sail with Disney Cruise Line in just a few weeks. I am so excited your adventure is almost here!
