Welcome, Foolish Mortal! Deanna, I am thrilled to see you at planDisney with your question about planning to party with the grim, grinning ghosts on your trip next year.
Typically, the exciting news about
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts to creep out around Halfway to Halloween (late April or early May). This is a special ticketed event that cannot be combined with a vacation package.
My strategy for saving for this spirited celebration is
Disney Gift Cards. Adding a $25 gift card to the grocery cart every so often keeps my heart from skipping a beat when I purchase my tickets. Just register your cards on the site (I log in with my
MyDisney credentials) and transfer the balances to one "master" card. You can purchase Halloween party tickets online if your gift card covers the total cost. If the gift card helps offset the total due, you can
call to apply multiple forms of payment to your ticket purchase.
Since I can tell you are an early planner like me, I want to make sure you are aware of the
special offers information. If you book a vacation package early and an offer is released, you can usually modify your reservation to take advantage of the new deals. Sometimes, you may have to change your resort view or even consider changing resorts, but I always check throughout the year to see if there are new ways to stretch my vacation dollars further and save some money for guilt-free snacking at the parks.
I hope your trip has your heart racing and filled to the brim. If you have any other questions rattling in your skull, please drive your Doom Buggy back by
planDisney. We're dying to help!
Let's BOO This!
