I started online check-in at Caribbean Beach Resort and it gave me two request options to choose from: Martinique or Corner Room. What would the benefits of these option be?

Hi there, Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a beautiful place to stay at during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Guests of this Disney Resort hotel will have the luxury of being immersed in a tropical island paradise that includes sandy beaches, swaying hammocks, and a gorgeous water feature. In addition, there are also some delectable dining options that feature Caribbean-inspired menus that I cannot recommend enough!

I've had the pleasure of staying in many different room types at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. As far as specific "islands" or sections of the resort, I think Martinique may be my favorite! I just love its close proximity to Old Port Royale. This can reduce the amount of time spent on walking to grab a snack or take advantage of some of the many amenities available! I do also recommend corner rooms, as well though. In my experience, corner rooms can feel a bit larger due to having two large windows. Personally, I do love having access to these windows and allowing the natural Florida light into my space! However, if privacy is one of your main concerns, this may not be as big of a draw for you and your family.

Ultimately, the decision should be based on your own preferences, though!

I hope this information will assist you in making your room requests for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
