Hi there! We are about to start our vacation soon and we were wondering: what are the pool times for Disney’s Art of Animation? We’ve heard the main pool has specific times meanwhile the small pools are open 24/7. Is this correct? Thanks for your help!

Hi Jaime, thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of my favorite resorts located at Walt Disney World, especially when staying in one of the suites.  I enjoy the extra space in the room and having access to two full bathrooms makes getting ready in the morning a breeze for our family.  I also like the close proximity to the Disney Skyliner which will transport you in a relaxing manner to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I see you will be arriving at the resort in just a few days so using the pools to cool down and relax will be a top priority with the August heat!  This resort offers the use of three pools - The Big Blue Pool, inspired by Disney's Finding Nemo, is the main pool located right outside the lobby of the resort.  This is a zero-entry pool and is currently the largest hotel pool at Walt Disney World. The Cozy Cone Pool is located in the Cars section of the resort and the Flippin' Fins Pool is located near the Little Mermaid-themed standard rooms.

Although pool hours and lifeguard availability vary by pool and are subject to change, the current hours for all three pools are 10:00 am - 11:00 pm.  Complimentary towels and life jackets are provided at all pools if needed.

Jaime, I hope you enjoy your stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and your vacation is truly magical!
