My WDW vacation reservations are going from Saturday to Saturday but changing resorts midway. Does it matter if the memory maker is on the second reservations or should I move it to the first reservations just to make sure I can use it for all days?

Hi Amy, thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney!

I love that you are doing a split resort stay for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  I have done this many times in the past, it's like getting two vacations in one!

What a great decision to purchase Memory Maker to use with Disney's PhotoPass Service.  It's the perfect way to create so many beautiful memories with family and friends and ensures everyone can be in the picture.  You'll find Disney PhotoPass photographers at many locations throughout the parks so be sure to stop and capture the moment.  My favorite feature is being able to download photos and videos that are available at select attractions.  I recently went on TRON Lightcycle / Run and that is my favorite PhotoPass attraction picture and video so far.

Getting back to your question, once you purchase Memory Maker, you will want to make sure it is linked to your My Disney Experience account. You can confirm this by scrolling down to the My Plans, Reservations and Tickets page and selecting the Tickets, Passes and Memory Maker tab.

Once linked, Memory Maker is active for 30 days from the time it is activated. This means that you can take as many photos as you like for 30 days after your first picture is captured. Your photos and videos will be available to download for 45 days from the date they are taken.

I hope your upcoming vacation is truly magical and the memories you create stay with you forever.
    Diane
