Do I have to start using my theme park tickets the day I check in to my Walt Disney Resort Hotel?

    Hi Amanda,
Thanks for coming to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Luckily, you do NOT have to use your theme park tickets the day you check into your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I know many families that use their arrival day to get settled, relax, check out the pool and their resort and see what's going on at Downtown Disney. There is no requirement to go to a theme park after a day (or night) of traveling.

I hope that this not only answers your question, but that it leaves you dreaming of all the possibilities of your first day at the Walt Disney World Resort! Please come back and see us if you have any additional questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
