Hey, hey Eric!
Welcome to planDisney and a big shout out to my fellow Coloradan! We mountain lovers also enjoy our magical mountain time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's get you some Disney World payment plan ideas, so you can get your awesome vacation countdown started. Adventure is out there!!
I've got a couple of options I like to share with people looking for a Disney vacation payment plan.
- Use a Chase Disney Rewards Visa card - This credit card comes with a few pixie-dusted perks I like to utilize during our vacation, like 10% off Disney gift shop purchases. But another cool card holder benefit they currently offer is "Disney Vacation Financing". This gives you 0% financing for 6 months on a Disney Vacation Package.
- Reserve a Disney Vacation Package and make payments - You can reserve a Disney Vacation Package (Disney Resort hotel + theme park tickets) for a $200 refundable deposit, prices subject to change. This locks in your preferred room and dates, and allows you time to make payments of any amount and frequency up until the final balance is due, 30 days before check-in.
Once you have a reservation in place, making payments towards your vacation package is easy. Just log in to
My Disney Experience and go to "My Plans", find your reservation, and select "Make a Payment". I've used this strategy many times before, making payments over a period of time. Typically after making a payment, I receive an email invoice which shows the amount paid plus any remaining balance due. And the best part is once you've made that reservation... you get to start watching your magical vacation countdown in the
My Disney Experience app. Woo hoo!
Another thing I always share with my friends and family is to be sure and watch for any deals that may arise on the Disney World
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page. If they feature a fall deal that works with your vacation plans, you can modify your reservation to switch to the special offer, and save some money!
Eric, I'll be sending all my Rocky Mountain pixie-dust for your wonderful Walt Disney World plans to work out well for you! If you need any additional advice on dining, resort recommendations, or other planning questions please feel free to
visit me again at planDisney.
And never forget...
The wilderness must be explored!! Caw, caw! RAWR!
