Welcome to planDisney, Carla! Your
Disneyland Resort visit is just around the river bend, so let's look at how you can apply for Disability Access Service (DAS) and make your visit even more magical.
I suggest looking over the
Top Things to Know About DAS on the information page to see if you or someone in your party will qualify for the service. DAS is designed for guests with difficulty waiting in standby queues and allows them to return during an assigned window.
After reviewing the requirements, you can register online via video chat. The guest applying for DAS must be available during the call, and you can do the online registration between two and 30 days before you arrive. It looks like you're within that window, so my tip is to hop online to do the video call as soon as possible.
On the
Registering for DAS page, scroll to the "Ready to Chat with a Cast Member?" section and accept the Terms and Conditions. You'll see a "Request Live Chat" button to click when ready.
One advantage of online registration is that you can choose two
DAS Advance experiences before you arrive. As someone who loves to map out my day, I find this option appealing!
If you're unable to register online, Hakuna Matata! No worries, Carla, because guests can register for DAS at a few places at Disneyland Resort. You can head to City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, or any
Guest Relations location.
My final tip is to download the
Disneyland mobile app and familiarize yourself with it before you arrive. You'll be able to book those DAS return times through the app! I love the convenience of having all my plans in the palm of my hand, and the Tip Board is a handy tool to check current wait times and entertainment schedules.
Carla, I hope your upcoming visit is full of treasured memories. Please
stop by planDisney with any additional questions because we'd love to help!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
