Where to start?? This is our first time coming to disney. I have no clue where to start with this stuff. We will be arriving at 11am. Are we able to check into our hotel early? How long does it take to get to each park?

    Maria,

While check in is posted as being later in the day, that really means room availability. So you can check in whenever you arrive, get your accounts in order, get park tickets, etc., and be on your way. You can have them call, text, or e-mail you when your room is ready, if you wish. So I would go check in, then head off to do something fun!

As for time to get to parks, it varies based on where you are starting (your resort) and where you are heading (which park). But as a rule you can expect a 30 minute bus ride and also will want to account for as much as a 20 minute wait for the bus to arrive. Travel can be a lot shorter in some cases, but that is a good rule of thumb.

But don't let this confusion mar your planning fun. If you write me back I can help you with some ball park information on time from resort hotel to park, best methods of transportation to each destination, and we can then go from there. I am also glad to help with ideas on things to do and where to dine, if that is of any help? Just let me know where you are staying, when your travel dates are, and what else has you concerned in your planning! If you have to, break it up into a few questions. We are here to help!

    Have a magical vacation!
