If we start our day at Hollywood Studios with a multi pass and then skip to Magic Kingdom, can my daughter and her husband go back to Hollywood, while we put the grandkids to bed, and still use the multipass in Star Wars?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Sharon!

Welcome to planDisney with such a great question! I love that you're planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most MERRIEST time of the year! The holiday season at Disney World truly sparkles with pure Disney magic — from twinkling lights and festive decorations to special seasonal events! How fun that you'll have the chance to experience it firsthand!

It looks like your upcoming trip will be a multi-generational vacation, and I'm so excited for you because those are truly some of the most memorable kinds of getaways! I actually have quite a bit of personal experience with this type of travel. My family has been enjoying multi-generational Disney vacations since my now-teen and tween were just babies in strollers. Over the years, these trips have become some of our most treasured traditions, and Walt Disney World makes them even more magical. There's just something so special about having grandparents, parents, and kids all experiencing the wonder together, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Not too long ago, my family used to do exactly what you're planning to do. Little ones often get tired as the night goes on, and I was always so grateful when my parents would offer to bring them back to the resort. That gave my husband and me the chance to enjoy more park time together.

With a Park Hopper ticket, you'll have the flexibility to start your morning at Hollywood Studios and then hop over to Magic Kingdom later in the day. In the evening, when you return to your resort with your grandkids, mom and dad can head back over to Hollywood Studios if they'd like. The great news is that your Lightning Lane Multi Pass works across multiple parks, as long as there's availability. Once you scan into your first Lightning Lane attraction, you'll be able to book your next one in any park you choose, again based on availability. You can continue booking this way each time you use a Lightning Lane throughout the day, keeping the magic going as long as selections remain.

Just keep in mind that if they're hoping to experience Rise of the Resistance using Lightning Lane, this attraction requires a separate purchase through a Lightning Lane Single Pass. Guests can buy up to two single passes per person, per day.

Sharon, I hope this information helps and that you have the best vacation ever with your family! If any other questions come up as you continue to plan, you're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
