I want to start my day at Epcot and then park hop to Magic Kingdom. Can I do my lightning lane multi pass at magic kingdom (since will be there in the afternoon and it matches available times) or do I have to start it at my first park?

Hey there, welcome to planDisney! Your visit is only a couple of hours away, and I hope this visit is a magical one for you and whoever you are sharing it with. Let's get started on this question.

Marie I am a huge fan of park hopping. Tailoring a visit according to my specific wants is something I usually try to achieve for each visit. We are planners at heart here, and I can appreciate that you are thinking ahead. You absolutely can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) for the park you intend on hopping to. Magic Kingdom Park is by far my favorite park, and closing the night there is a great idea. If you are anything like me making sure you have some kind of snack in hand as you await Happily Ever After to illuminate the sky above Cinderella Castle is super important. Finding the right spot is just as important, my favorite place to watch from is near Casey's Corner. It gives me a bunch of snack options for my family, and those options are all within walking distance of Casey's.

Some tips to maximize your LLMP is making sure you arrive to your LL at the beginning of your scheduled time. The reason I say that is because the sooner you use a LL, the sooner you can claim another in its spot. Another great tip is checking to see what other attractions are near your LL attraction. If you get in line for another attraction a couple minutes before or after your time, you will have enjoyed two attractions in a short span of time. You can also use this strategy for feeding your hunger. Use Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering while waiting for an attraction and place the order for a set time, so you can walk up and have hot and ready food with no wait.

I hope you have a great visit to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Come on back anytime and we will be happy to help again.

    See ya real soon,
