I am going to be at the all stars movies resort on 1/31/18 and checking out the next day. On 2/1/18 we are going to be staying at Port Orleans . I was wondering what the best transportation option is in order to go to the parks when they open on 2/1.

    Dear Sarah,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your terrific question about planning for your upcoming split stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Staying at two different Walt Disney World Resort hotels during your magical vacation can be so much fun. You get to visit and appreciate two totally different atmospheres and themes, and experience the amenities of two distinct hotels. My family also loves to do a split stay when we are visiting.

The best plan for you is to pack up all of your belongings on the morning of the day that you are set to leave Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, and leave them with Bell Services. Believe it or not, they will actually deliver them straight to your room at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside or Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter hotel!

In the meantime, I recommend that you take one of the super handy Disney buses straight from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel directly to the park of your choice that day! If you'd like to be at the park when it opens, I recommend that you leave 60-90 minutes before the scheduled park opening in order to give yourself enough time on the bus, and then to get through security and bag check procedures so that you can start your day!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
