Hi Lisa, welcome to planDisney!
It looks like the
current schedule for the Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade has only been shared for a few weeks out at this time. According to the
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade page on the
Walt Disney World website, the parade will not be available on evenings when
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party take place. At this time, the
dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in September 2025 are September 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, and 30. According to the travel date you shared, hopefully you’ll have the opportunity to see the parade!
Walt Disney Imagineering recently released a new episode of “
We Call It Imagineering,” which shares some insight on how the parade was designed and even reveals the
finale float, a train named Whimsy! If you’re like me, you love learning about how Disney Parks prepares for new entertainment, and
Disney Parks Blog posted a “day-in-the-life” of various Disney Live Entertainment Cast Members as they rehearse for their roles in the new parade. Let me tell you, I was shocked to see that Cast Members are preparing around the clock, whether it is performers rehearsing, Merchandise Cast Members readying new show-specific items, or float drivers practicing in the park overnight!
I hope you get the chance to see Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away on your upcoming trip, Lisa! If you have any more questions, please come back and see us at
planDisney!
