Hello there Jose,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your planning question. Just a few more sleeps, and you'll be arriving at Walt Disney World. Yaaay you!!
I don't blame you one bit for making sure you'll get a chance to view this new must-do parade,
Disney's Starlight: Dream the Night Away! It's at the top of my wish list for my next visit, and friends who have seen it tell me it's wonderful. They also warned me it's a huge hit and gets a bit crowded, so be sure to stake out a good viewing spot early. This parade also runs in reverse from other parades, so be aware it starts on Main Street, USA by the fire station, circles the hub in front of the castle, and then heads to Frontierland.
I'm happy to confirm that yes! I can see on the
Parks Operating Calendar that Starlight will run on Wednesday, January 11 - with two showings that evening at 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. It looks like you are visiting during a week with earlier closing times at Magic Kingdom on multiple dates, due to a special holiday event being held in the evening. So your best bet to see both the Starlight evening parade and
Happily Ever After fireworks the week will be either Monday night (12/1) or Wednesday night (12/3).
You know all it takes is a little faith, trust, and pixie dust... oh, and a little planning! You've got this!!
Jose, I hope this helps and that you have an absolutely amazing time at Walt Disney World. Please visit us any time at planDisney with any additional questions you may have.
See ya' real soon!
Tami
