Does Star Wars day at Sea take the place of Pirate night?

Welcome aboard, Tracie! My son was so thrilled a couple years ago when Disney Cruise Line began offering Star Wars Day at Sea on select sailings. He is a big Star Wars fan, and this is just the cruise for him! It sounds like you might have some Padawans in your family too!

Star Wars Day at Sea is a really exciting day of Star Wars activities, Character Meet and Greets and entertainment. Your little ones will love participating in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple! My son had the most memorable experience learning the Jedi ways and how to wield his lightsaber. He then got to battle Darth Vader! Wow, pretty cool! This is its own day onboard and is in addition to our favorite Pirate Night.

You'll be happy to know that there will also be a swashbuckling night of pirate fun with Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party and the Buccaneer Blast Fireworks at sea like only Disney can do! So, if you're looking to pack costumes for your cruise, you might want to bring Star Wars costumes and pirate costumes to add to the fun of those two special days onboard!

Have so much fun planning, Tracie, and please stop back with more questions as you continue to count down to your big sail date!
