Hi Jenelle! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I know all about visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth with a large family! Last summer, my family, my sister's family, and my parents trekked down to our favorite Disney destination and spent a week making the most of the magic at Walt Disney World Resort. With six adults and five kids, we did our best to keep everyone happy, fed, and most importantly, rested! I know how important it can be to find the perfect Guest room, so let's see what we can do for you!
You've named some really great options with
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort as your choices for staying with us at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Both Resorts are practically perfect for little ones with oversized instruments and well-known character friends, and splashtastic pools for those hot afternoon swims.
While both Resorts will keep your 10-person family comfortable and happy you will find that Family Suites do not have a door in the middle that can connect two Family Suites together. You are, however, able to request for your two Family Suites to be nearby each other. If you haven't yet booked your Guest rooms you'll be able to add this request when you book. If booking on the Walt Disney World Resort website you'll make two completely separate reservations. When you get to the checkout page you'll see "Room and Amenity requests" where you can click a link and request "nearby" rooms. If you've already made your reservations you're welcome to "Chat" with a Cast Member on the Walt Disney World website in order to make this request or you can
call and speak with a Cast Member at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at (407) 939-1936. While these requests cannot be guaranteed, Cast Members will do their very best to help make your stay a magical one.
If you do end up booking a stay at All-Star Music, check out the Rock and Roll Cupcake at the
Intermission Food Court! This yellow cupcake is filled with peanut butter buttercream and topped with banana panna cotta and candied bacon! It's certainly worth a try!
Hope to see you soon, Jenelle!
