Where are the standard rooms located at Art of Animation? Are they near the lobby, dining, pool, and transportation? How far of a walk, approximately?

Hi Amber! Thank you for visiting planDisney and your question!

Let's talk all things Disney's Art of Animation Resort! This is the ultimate resort for families, especially if you have littles or are big fans of the movies honored through artwork here! The proximity to Disney Skyliner can't be beaten, and this resort is home to the largest pool on Walt Disney World property, The Big Blue Pool! The Landscape of Flavors Food Court provides great dining options throughout the day, and The Drop Off Pool Bar is the perfect place to grab a cocktail while you're poolside.

The Little Mermaid area of Art of Animation is the home of the standard rooms. You can request a room with one King bed or two Queen-sized beds with this room type. The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo areas are the homes of the Family Suites. The Little Mermaid area is the farthest from Animators Hall, Landscape of Flavors, the bus pick-up area, and the Skyliner. Depending on how fast you walk and where your room is located, it is 10 minutes or less. The scenic trail overlooking Hourglass Lake is really beautiful, and it's fun pointing out characters and decor! If this is too long of a walk, I suggest looking into the Cars Suite area. I recently stayed here, and the walk to both the Skyliner and Animators Hall was five minutes.

Amber, thank you for visiting planDisney! I hope all this information inspires you to be a guest at Art of Animation. Please visit planDisney if other questions arise again. You've got a friend in me!

    Life is the bubbles!
