Are there any standard rooms close to the suites at Arts of Animation? Our family of 5 (kids 5,2,infant) plus 2 grandparents are looking for some where for all of us to go without spending a ton of money, But we want to be close to each other

    Welcome, Angela!

My family and I have really enjoyed our stays at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The suites are a great value for families, especially since they offer a separate bedroom for Mom and Dad. My kids adored the murphy bed that folds down (it's the little things), and it was certainly nice to have two bathrooms so we could all be getting ready at the same time. I'm glad to hear you're considering a stay there!

There are four distinct areas at Art of Animation: the Cars section, the Finding Nemo section, the Lion King section (all three of which feature suites), and finally, the Little Mermaid Standard Rooms. While there is a bit of a walk between the different sections, if you're looking to be closest to the Little Mermaid Standard Rooms where the grandparents will be staying, I'd suggest booking one of the Lion King Family Suites, since that section leads into the Little Mermaid section, and you'd be closest there. You can certainly request that you get a Lion King suite closer to Little Mermaid, and that the grandparents get a room in the Little Mermaid buildings closer to Lion King! Also, be sure to check out all of the pools, because my favorite pool is by far the Cozy Cone Pool, since my kids and I love Disney's Cars, and it's super relaxing and fun to have our own Cozy Cone Cabana to enjoy on the side of the pool.

And, did you know that soon the Disney Skyliner will be transporting guests through the air from Art of Animation to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot? I cannot wait to experience this new transportation when I visit this fall! By the time you arrive next May, you'll be able to ride the Skyliner as well!

Have fun planning this magical adventure, Angela!
