Do standard rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort have 2 x double beds (as per my guidebook / various internet sites) or do they now have 2 x queen beds, which is what shows on the WDW site? We would not book if doubles, but might be tempted if now queens?

Hi, Helen! It may be time to give it a try! The Walt Disney World web page has the most up-to-date information. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort began a major refurbishment in July 2014, and it's scheduled to be completed any day now, if it isn't already finished. During this time, all rooms (with the exception of King Bed rooms and the Pirate Rooms) were upgraded to queen-sized beds. Many rooms (but not all) will also now have the ability to accommodate up to five Guests, with the addition of a bunk-size fold down bed. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
