what is a standard room at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter like? Can you request a certain room in standard section? What would my room view be?

    Hi Amber!

Port Orleans French Quarter's standard rooms are wonderful! They've recently been refurbished and now contain two queen beds - a huge improvement from the double beds that used to be at the resort!

Room requests can be added to your reservation at any time. You can be as specific as a room number or as general as a building or area of the resort. Personally, I do not tend to request by room number but rather by floor (first floor or top floor for example) or by a location (near an elevator). Room requests are just requests and aren't guaranteed but Disney will do their best to honor them!

To add a request, call 407-939-7675 and let the Disney reservations department know what you'd like to add to your room reservation.

Its nearly impossible to say what your room view will be. Standard view rooms are located all over the resort, with some even having a glimpse of the pool or river. Others face the "cobblestone" streets or the main building.

Hope you have a great trip!
