Do the standard inside staterooms on the Disney Magic have the magical portholes? The website shows no magical portholes but I have heard otherwise and that the DCL website has not yet been updated to show the new rooms. Thanks a bunch!

    Hi Connie!

I'm so glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your cruise question!  The standard inside staterooms on the Disney Magic have recently gotten new beds and bedding, but at this time do not have the Magic Portholes that the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy have. The Disney Cruise Line website does have the most current information regarding all of their vessels.

Even without the Magic Portholes, a room on a Disney ship is still ON a Disney ship!  Our family has cruised in nearly all of the different room types on the Magic, Dream, and Fantasy, and have had an amazing voyage every time (my 12th sailing is coming up!).  Since we spend very little time in the room (other than to sleep), it truly makes no difference to us what room we are in. One of the benefits of a standard inside stateroom is how dark it is during the day, especially if someone needs to nap.

I hope this helps with your cruise planning!  Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
