    We have a standard garden view room at GF - What building could this be in? Is there a building or room type we should request? Me, husband, 6 yr old daughter & 3 year old autistic son - Very worried about long walks or loud noise - Any suggestions??

    Hi Kristy!

    The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a beautiful resort! I'm sure you'll have a wonderful stay regardless of which building you are in, but here are some suggestions.

    The garden view rooms are located in four of the outer lodge buildings: Sago Cay, Conch Key, Boca Chica, and Big Pine Key. Each of these buildings has their advantages:
    • Sago Cay is close to the counter service restaurant and main building.
    • Conch Key is near the boat launch if you'd like to use the boat service to the Magic Kingdom. This lodge is also fairly close to the main building.
    • Boca Chica is the furthest building, but is near the main pool.
    • Big Pine Key also is along the main pool and near the beach pool. It is also close to the main building.
    Typically, the outer buildings of the Grand Floridian are very quiet. If you'd like to add a request for one of these lodges, please be sure to call Disney reservations at 407-939-7575 (or your travel agent) and ask to have a note added to your reservation. Room requests aren't guaranteed, but hopefully you'll have good luck!
