    On the standard dining plan, appetizers are not included, but can an appetizer be substituted for an entree?

    Hi Lynda! thanks for the great question! I wish I could give you a definitive answer on this one, but it totally depends on restaurant. I have never had any issue making substitutions, but also know that this cannot be taken for granted. If there is nothing on the entree section of menu that appeals to you, I would ask your server if you can make an appetizer an entree. They might be able to give you a larger portion of an appetizer, or turn it into an entree by adding a side to it. No guarantees, but you may be amazed at how accommodating they can be if it's possible.
