Hola Shelby!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you are considering a stay at the brand new Gran Destino Tower at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort! This
jewel of a hotel reminds me of the months I spent living in Barcelona. The Moorish decor and colorful bronze screens take me straight back to Parc Güell and Gaudi’s masterpieces!
There are
several rooms in Grand Destino Tower that have King beds. These include the Standard View and Water View rooms, as well as the
Club Access Suites. The suites sleep anywhere from four to eight adults, and have fantastic art and views! I double-checked with a fabulous Cast Member at the Resort, and the Standard View - Club Access Tower rooms all have Queen Beds.
Make sure to indulge in a signature cocktail or frothy coffee at the
Barcelona Lounge. It has the most fantastic views of Lago Dorado from its patio bar. I’m a bit biased, but with it’s modern Barcelona style and gorgeous stained-glass wall, I think it’s about to be one of my favorite places to relax at the
Resort!
I fell in love with
Tapas when I lived in Spain, and the rooftop
Dahlia Lounge does not disappoint when it comes to artistry with the food as well as the surroundings. Churros are my favorite snack in the Parks, and I can’t wait to try the savory churros on the menu at this surreal lounge!
Shelby, I am so excited for you to experience this
masterpiece of a Resort! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back.
