Hi Stacy, thanks for all your help!staying @POR I with DW & 2DDs. Is there 1 bus for POFQ & POR? After stopping @ POFQ bus stop does the bus go to east or west depot next? DW has back injury & trying to decide better room to stay in for less wal

Hi Alberto! I'm so happy that I've been able to help you with your Disney vacation! It is my absolute pleasure!

The two Port Orleans Resorts (Port Orleans French Quarter and Port Orleans Riverside) typically share one bus service. However, during peak operating times, such as park opening, fireworks and special events, each resort may have their own bus, but that is variable.

You can be assured that you won't have to wait around too long for the bus though. If there is a lot of traffic, Disney will ensure to send back to back buses so that no one is waiting around too long.

The "Blues and Jazz: bus stations at Port Orleans French Quarter is the first pick up location for the Disney buses upon heading to the park and the first drop-off on the trip back to the resort from the parks. After the bus departs this station, it heads to Port Orleans Riverside, and picks up at the main (South Depot). This is the stop that is near the main building and Fulton's General Store. The bus heads East on Sassagoula Circle (if you are looking at the park resort map, the bus goes clockwise) starting from the West Depot, then North Depot then finally East Depot. This can take about 15 minutes. I can definitely understand not wanting to wait around for a while. There are benches by the bus stop areas, so if standing is an issue, you can always hold her place in line while she sits on the bench. Have you considered renting a scooter? My mom has back issues and the scooter was great for her because she also can't stand for long periods.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

    Magically,
    Stacy
