    Hi Stacy! I'm thinking of visiting in October, can you please tell me if any special events are going on during this time?

    Hi! There are so many wonderful things to do in Walt Disney World in October. 

    My FAVORITE Walt Disney World special event is during this time: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! 

    This is event has the Boo To You Parade, complete with villains and characters that you don't typically see roaming the park, including the Headless Horseman. It is so exciting! I love the Boo To You song as well.

    October is also when the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is held. The festival will be held this year from September 27 - November 10. The event is filled with delicious foods offered at food carts around the World Showcase. There are culinary delights, concerts, walking-and-talking tasting tours with festival chefs, celebrity chefs, HGTV seminars and more! Last year Bethenny Frankel attended and held a Skinnygirl seminar in which she talked about how she creates healthy dishes in the kitchen. There was also a special event that required reservations called "Party for the Senses" More details will be available at a later date for this years events. 

    October is also the month that runDisney hosts the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 1-mile run.
