Hi Stacy! Are there any fun, educational experiences for kids while at Disney?

There are many wonderful ways that kids can learn while at Disney World! Disney offers a wide variety of experiences that offer hands-on learning. Take Epcot, for example. Kids can engage all of their senses while exploring the World Showcase and learning about the countries around the world. They can see the architecture of the buildings, taste the food from other cultures, speak with individuals from that country, hear the music and performances and create masks at each KidCot station. We love to have a tasting from each country from around the World Showcase and then talk about each of our favorites.

At Epcot kids can also learn about science and plants at the Behind the Seeds Tour in the Living the Land exhibit. My kids were able to feed the fish, release ladybugs and taste a Mickey Mouse shaped cucumber.

At Animal Kingdom kids can learn about the feeding and taking care of animals. They can learn how different animals, eat, sleep and live throughout the park.

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, kids can take an animation class by a real Disney artist! My son still employs the skills he learned during that session to draw and create his own comics. They can also learn about art, movie making and set design at this park.

At Magic Kingdom, encourage their map reading skills by giving them a map and helping plot out the course. You can also work on math skills while waiting in line for an attraction and giving the kids a budget to spend on food and merchandise for the day.

    The possibilities are endless!

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
