At he Spyglass Grill at Caribbean Beach, if you order the taco trio, can you switch side dishes and get French fries instead of the yucca chips and plantain, which would probably go to waste on our plates? Thanks!

    Hi Dan,
Thanks for submitting your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love seeing that you're exploring restaurant menus prior to your arrival for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! So many things to try and taste...I think food could almost be classified as an additional theme park, but what do I know?

While many of the restaurants are extremely accommodating for side dishes, unfortunately, I can't guarantee that they will make substitutions.  However, as we always say in our family, asking is free!  French fries are available as a separate side dish on the menu at the Spyglass Grill should substitutions not be allowed.

Dan, did you know that your visit coincides with the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival? This is my absolute favorite event of the year and I encourage you to go out and try something new this year!  At the very least, I hope you can stay and enjoy the Eat to the Beat Concert Series available every evening during the festival.

Good luck and have fun vacation planning! Come back and see us again if you have any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
