Welcome to planDisney, Shari, and on behalf of Mickey and the gang, a sincere thank you for your family's service. I'm so excited you're planning a
Walt Disney World Resort visit, so let's look at the policies for military benefits.
I looked at the
Frequently Asked Questions on the
Shades of Green website and saw that a sponsor does not have to be present if the spouse has a valid dependent ID card at check-in. I would advise double-checking precisely what you need to bring when you and your spouse make the reservation, but it sounds like you'll be good to go with the proper ID. Sounds like a magical vacation might be in your future, Shari!
I'd also suggest looking at the current Military Offers available to qualifying guests. I see four and five-day
Military Salute Tickets and a discount at
Disney Resort Hotels if Shades of Green cannot accommodate you. You can find
details and phone numbers on the Walt Disney World website, and I'm sending pixie dust, stars, and stripes so you'll book a magical trip.
Did you know that Shades of Green offers
complimentary bus service to all
four theme parks? You can relax and leave the driving to them. Resting on a cool bus is the perfect way to end a fun-filled Disney day!
Please
stop by planDisney anytime, Shari, and thanks again for this great question. I hope you have a wonderful time on your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
