You're going to love using Lightning Lane Passes to skip the stand by line on some of your favorite attractions. It means you can pack even more pixie dust into your Disney Day!
Let's talk about how to book those
Lightning Lane passes for you and your spouse at the same time. First, you'll want to make sure you've got your spouse linked in your
My Disney Experience app. If they have an existing Disney profile, select the three bar icon at the lower right "≡", scroll down to the "Account" section and select "Profile." On the "Family & Friends List", scroll down and click "Add a Guest" to connect them to your profile.
If they do not have a My Disney account, you'll want to link their park ticket to your account. Again from the app home page, select the three bar icon at the lower right "≡" and go to "My Tickets & Passes" and then select the plus sign on the top right corner to link a ticket.
Now you'll be all set once your eligibility window opens! As a reminder, guests staying at a Disney Resort can purchase Lightning Lane Passes 7 days prior to arrival starting at 7:00 am ET, and offsite guests can do so 3 days prior to arrival starting at 7:00 am ET. One of the purchase steps has you select which guests to include, and you should be able to include both yourself and spouse in the booking at that time.
My Tip --> If you plan to purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, make sure one of your 3 selections has as early of a time slot as possible. Once you tap in to that attraction, immediately log on to My Disney Experience app and grab a 4th Lightning Lane pass... and no "tier" restrictions apply! This is a great way to maximize your value, and include those popular must-do rides in your plans.
