Hey there, hi there, Julie! Welcome, and thanks for creeping in with a spooktacular question!
We are nearly
halfway to Halloween, which is a holiday unto itself at Walt Disney World, so information should be coming out soon about the fall festivities for this year. In past years, we've had either Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party or the
Disney After Hours Boo Bash. In either of these two cases, the final night has traditionally been on Halloween, October 31st. These
separately ticketed events do tend to sell out - especially on Halloween night - so take an early flight and book tickets as soon as you can when they become available if this is something you'd like to do.
And while Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year here in Jersey, it's
even more magical when you are visiting
Walt Disney World. Almost like the flip of a switch, you'll begin to see the theme parks and resorts transition to Christmas as soon as the final minutes of Halloween are over. Last year, there was Disney Very Merriest After Hours, which kicked off on November 8th. So while you may miss some of the Christmas festivities, you'll probably still see some of the decorations going up.
Have a practically perfect visit, Julie!
