Welcome to planDisney, Jacqueline!
I’m so excited that your family will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Family vacations at Disney World are my absolute favorite. My son was newly 2 years old for his first visit while my daughter was much younger. They don’t remember those first trips but my husband and I do and they are truly special.
For both of those early visits, I called down for a pack n’ play once we arrived in our room. They worked perfectly for both of my Mouseketeers. If you are looking for a
crib, hold onto that faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust the Cast Member you spoke with gave you, and don’t reserve it just yet. I know that’s probably easier said than done, so if I were you I would call a week before my visit to see if I could request it then. If you still feel uneasy about waiting so close to your trip, I recommend taking my fellow
panelist’s advice and completing a quick search for “crib rentals in Orlando”. That way you can guarantee the sleeping setup you are looking for before you arrive.
Since you are deep in planning, don’t forget to
schedule your dining reservations 60 before your arrival. With my little ones we always schedule at least one Character Dining reservation. One of our family favorites is
Topolino's Terrace. We tend to start our day there then take the
Skyliner over to EPCOT. It’s a quick and filling morning adventure. Plus, there’s nothing more exciting than beginning your day flying through the sky before you arrive at the parks!
Jacqueline, I can’t wait to hear all about the new memories you will create. Please be sure to visit us again if there’s anything else we can help with.
Enjoy the Magic!
