chEARs Michelle!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My husband is Scottish, and I'm American, so I can attest that there are quite a few differences between our cultures, but I can guarantee that just like in Britain, cribs in the United States have four sides!
So I've have traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with babies many a time, and
complimentary cribs (all four sides!) are available at every
Disney Resort hotel. Most of the “cribs” are standard size Pack n’ Plays, but some larger cribs are available. They come with a fitted sheet, and you can request a crib either at arrival or by calling your hotel beforehand. Disney also has Featured Providers where you can rent a crib or a toddler bed. We have happily used Kingdom Strollers several times. The process was very straightforward, and the products are great.
Since you are asking about cots, I assume you might need a stroller too. If you aren't bringing your stroller from home, Walt Disney World Resort has
Stroller Rentals at all four Theme Parks and
Disney Springs. Since you are traveling across the pond, I would suggest a Length of Stay Rental. You can pre-pay for the number of days that you need the stroller and pay less than you would if you rented each day. When you do this, all you need to do is show your receipt at the rental location to get your stroller for the day!
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I wish you a magical vacation!
