If I have a split-stay at WDW resorts (3 nights at one, 4 nights at another) through DVC, will I be able to make dining reservations for the FULL 7 nights 60 days prior to arrival at the first resort? or only for the first 3 nights to start?

Welcome Home, Christine! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. It's always a great day when I get to chat with a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, and I'm delighted to help with your question.

The split stay really is a pro move--getting to experience not one, but TWO of the exceptional DVC resorts is always a good idea. I think my ideal split would be Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows (our Home Resort) and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House (one word: giraffes). I'm so curious to hear where you're hoping to stay!

Currently, split stays are not connected as a single reservation--meaning that you will have two separate 60-day windows to book Advance Dining Reservations for the two stays. Be sure to mark your calendar for both dates and set your alarm so you'll be ready to pounce on those reservations promptly at 6:00 AM!

Don't forget that Bell Services will transport your luggage from your first resort to your second destination to make the transfer a breeze. Keep any valuables, medications, or other items you might need with you as the bags may not arrive until later in the afternoon. You can pick up your bags at the Bell Services desk at resort #2, or call from your in-room phone and a Cast Member will bring it right to you! This service is complimentary, but I always make sure to have some cash with me so that I can tip the Cast Members at both resorts.

Christine, the possibilities for a practically perfect split stay are endless! I am sure you're going to have an amazing time staying in the magic wherever you choose to hang your hat (or mouse ears, in this case...). Thanks again for dropping by--if our planDisney crew can help with any other questions, please reach out anytime.

    Stay Magical!
