Hello, Luann! Only a few more months until you hear that familiar greeting, "Welcome Home!" I've stayed in my fair share of Disney Vacation Club properties, and I'd be happy to give you my thoughts.
With two Mouseketeers under the age of three, proximity to the Parks is a must! My favorite Deluxe Studios are the ones located at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, due to the convenient 10-minute walk to Magic Kingdom Park. I like to book a Lake View room on the 5th floor because it provides easy access to the Monorail via the Sky Way Bridge that connects to Disney's Contemporary Resort's 4th Floor Concourse. This resort also has an exclusive area for Disney Vacation Club Members called the
Top of the World Lounge. We've been known to head up there in our jammies to watch the
Happily Ever After Fireworks. The only drawback to these studios is they can be a little tight with four people. As an alternative, I'd suggest staying in a Deluxe Studio at
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, which are also on the Monorail line. These studios are about 450 square feet, making them the largest of all DVC studios, and they have the extra added benefit of a second bathroom!
You might also want to consider staying at one of the properties in the Epcot Resort Area. My pick would be
Disney's Beach Club Villas. This New England-style beach resort has a 3-acre water park called Stormalong Bay that features slides, a lazy river, and a sandy bottom pool that is often said to be the "Best Pool at Walt Disney World." My honorable mention pick would be a Deluxe Studio at
Disney's Riviera Resort. Guests staying here have access to the new
Disney Skyliner, so getting to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios would be a "breeze!"
I hope this helps, Luann! If you have any more questions, remember we're all ears!
